We are partnering with a real assets fund specialising in managing and investing in infrastructure assets across a range of specialisations. This organisation has a strong track record of managing complex infrastructure assets and delivering consistent returns for their clients. They are seeking a Senior Associate to support the management of key infrastructure assets and contribute to the strategic oversight of the portfolio.

In this role, you will play a key part in deal assessment and analysis and the asset management lifecycle—working on the strategic oversight, performance monitoring, and optimisation of infrastructure assets. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure long-term value creation while supporting investment decisions and portfolio strategies.

Key responsibilities -

• Oversee and manage infrastructure assets, working closely with investee companies and internal stakeholders to optimise performance and drive value.
• Maintain, review, and challenge financial valuation models; conduct detailed financial analysis and performance assessments.
• Lead due diligence processes, identify investment opportunities, and contribute to the preparation of investment committee materials.
• Assist in managing governance functions, such as reviewing board materials and engaging in key initiatives including M&A, refinancing, and ESG.
• Collaborate across teams on strategic initiatives, portfolio performance, and sustainability efforts, while ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Who it suits -

• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure investment, asset management, private equity, or related fields—ideally with exposure to Australasian infrastructure markets.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (NPV, IRR, DCF), with experience in asset performance monitoring and portfolio management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable—comfortable managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
