We are partnering with a major renewable energy player who are seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst to join their Corporate Finance team for a fixed-term of 12 months. This role will assist in shaping capital strategy, informing investment decisions, and monitoring performance through financial and strategic analysis.

In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting a diverse portfolio of large-scale energy projects. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, build and maintain sophisticated financial models, and help deliver key insights that drive investment outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models and assumption books for large-scale renewable energy projects.
• Analyse key value drivers, commercial risks, and market dynamics to support project investment cases.
• Assist in structuring and executing project financing strategies, including debt and equity raisings.
• Provide financial analysis and modelling support for business cases, M&A opportunities, and board presentations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, engineering, legal, and external stakeholders.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

Who it suits

• 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, M&A, engineering consultancy (with infrastructure feasibility modelling), corporate development and/or strategy with a focus on the infrastructure or renewable energy industry.
• Tertiary qualified (finance, business, economics, engineering or science).
• Strong Excel modelling skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
• A proactive, inquisitive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
